With the acquisiton of Dupuis in June 2004, Média-Participations became the undisputed leader of the Comic World and the first French animation company with an unrivalled catalogue in terms of quantity and quality.

The Group has united three prestigious companies: Dargaud, Le Lombard, Dupuis

Under those three names, there are several activities:
- Publishing of comic books with 5 publishing companies: Dargaud, Lucky Comics ( in collaboration with Lucky Production), Le Lombard, Kana, Blake et Mortimer and Dupuis. The last four are located in Belgium.
- Video production for children with Citel Vidéo and Kana Home Video
- Audivisual production with Dargaud Marina, Ellipsanime and Dupuis Audiovisuel and directing with the animation studio Belvision in Bruxelles
- Press with the weekly magazine of the comics Spirou
- Historic and thematic publishing with the Editions Chronique and the publishing of books for children with Le Ballon, a subsidiary of the groupe Dupuis.
